Welcome to Downtown Roseville Partnership, Captain Clarissa Oliveira!
It's a new year and we are happy to introduce Captain Clarissa Oliveira who will be serving on our board.
Captain Clarissa Ochoa-Oliveira finds her greatest joy in seeing lives transformed by the power of God's amazing grace.
She and her husband, Lt. Henry Oliveira, have two incredible sons. They currently reside in the Roseville area, where they are the Corps Officers/Pastors at The Salvation Army Roseville Corps. Capt. Ochoa-Oliveira has served at The Salvation Army Yuma Temple in Yuma, AZ, at The College for Officer Training as the Field Training Officer in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, Del Oro Divisional Headquarters as The Divisional Women's and Community Care Ministry Secretary.
She was born in the beautiful country of Mexico to a lovely, hard-working parents. Capt. Ochoa-Oliveira earned her B.A in Counseling from Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs, Colorado, an M.A in Organizational Leadership from Point Loma University in San Diego, CA. Her favorite things to do when not at work are sleeping late, spending time with family, painting, watching a good movie, and doing everything else that keeps her away from work.
During this past year, God teaches her to trust Him and not doubt the work He has done and doing in her life. He's also teaching her to endure and be open to change and opportunities. "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you." (Psalm 32:8)
We are looking forward to all the insight Captain Oliveira can provide on improving our Downtown!
