Downtown Roseville comes alive this fall with festive events for all ages! From pumpkin patches and costume contests to live music, food trucks, fun for adults, and family fun, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Don’t miss the chance to celebrate the season in the heart of the city! 
 

OKTOBERFEST @ THE MONK’S CELLAR 

SEPTEMBER 19TH - SEPTEMBER 21ST 
 
Oktoberfest is back and bigger than ever! For three days, the restaurant becomes a bustling German beer hall, filled with festive energy, hearty food, and flowing brews. The celebration kicks off with the mayor tapping the first keg, followed by the launch of two exclusive house brews: a smooth Festbier and a crisp German-style Helles.  
 
You’ll also find a full lineup of imported German beers to keep the party going. Come hungry—they are serving up traditional Bavarian dishes made to match every sip. This event is filled with flavor, fun, and fall tradition!

FALL FAMILY FEST  

SEPTEMBER 20TH (2-5pm)  
 
Taking place at Vernon Street Town Square and Royer Park, this “Welcome Fall” event kickstarts the season with an exciting festival! Explore the exciting truck exploration zone with big rigs like fire engines, garbage trucks, police vehicles, and more. Kids can bounce, craft, play in two lively kids zones, and enjoy interactive hands‑on fun.  
 
Browse over 50 local vendors, enjoy food truck treats, lawn games, crafts, and live stage performances.  
 
Plus, don’t miss Scarecrows on the Square—where guests vote on creative scarecrows during the festival. The scarecrows will be on display from Sept 19th–26th for the public to enjoy. Want to create a scarecrow for the contest? Sign up here (deadline is September 13th!)

CONCERTS ON THE SQUARE ft. Journey Revisited  

SEPTEMBER 20TH (Gates open 6:30pm, Performance begins 7:30pm) 

Stay for the final Concerts on the Square performance of the season! Journey Revisited will capture the iconic tones of the Journey and bring you an authentic experience.  
 
Lead singer Frank house, keyboardist Kevin Jachetta, guitarist Val Popovic, bassist Dave Sousa, and drummer David Hawkes, will bring favorites like "Don’t Stop Believin’," "Wheel in the Sky," and "Lights" to life with electrifying energy.

HOT PINK FUN RUN  

SEPTEMBER 28TH 

The Placer Breast Cancer Foundation’s annual fundraiser is back! There are two age groups, children 10 and under and ages 11 and up. Both age groups have the choice of 1 mile, 5K, and 10K runs.   
 
All proceeds go towards breast cancer research, education, and community outreach. Refreshments are offered at the conclusion of the race. All participants will receive a participation medal and the top 3 finishers in each category will also be featured in an awards ceremony.

FALLING LEAF FESTIVAL 

OCTOBER 11TH 

Presented by Living Smart Farmers Markets, this family-friendly event will feature pumpkin painting, a kids and family costume contest, and a playful kids zone filled with carnival games and inflatables.  
 
Savor delicious eats from food trucks, shop handmade goods and fall treats from over 100 local vendors, and enjoy live music and entertainment throughout the day. It’s the perfect way to kick off fall and get into the Halloween spirit! 

Registration is required for the costume contest. Please show up in costume at the Costume Contest booth by 1:15pm and register your name and age!

HALLOWEEN TOWNE NIGHT MARKET  

OCTOBER 18TH 

The Bombshell Group is bringing us even more spooktacular fun! Step into a festive fall marketplace filled with unique finds—from spooky décor to sweet seasonal snacks.  
 
Come in costume and join the fun with live entertainment, interactive games, and plenty of surprises for all ages. It’s a celebration that captures the magic and mischief of Halloween in every corner! 

An 80s and 90s horror movie themed costume contest will be held on stage at 6pm. Registration is required for the costume contest at the Eventbrite link below. Please click the “Get Tickets” button and choose your age group from the “Costume Contest” options.

COMEDY NIGHT W/ CRAIG SHOEMAKER 

OCTOBER 24TH 

Get ready to laugh out loud with comedian Craig Shoemaker! You may have seen Craig on the hit TV series Parks & Recreation, the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful, or a number of other shows and movies.  
 
Craig is also known for his standup comedy persona “The LoveMaster”. He has won several awards for his entertaining performances including “Best Male Standup” at the American Comedy Awards as well as two Emmy awards.  

Due to the nature of the jokes at this event, only adults ages 18 and over will be admitted.

FAMILY FUN NIGHT  

OCTOBER 30TH 

Fall delights are non-stop at Downtown Roseville! Rounding out October will be the crowd-favorite, Family Fun Night!  
 
This event is a beloved annual tradition filled with safe trick-or-treating along Vernon Street, live main stage entertainment, a spirited costume contest (by age category), food trucks, local vendors, and festive fun for everyone. 

This community celebration offers a vibrant, family-friendly evening in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Don’t miss your chance to join the magic and make new memories in the heart of Roseville!
