With Halloween-themed treats, crafts, games, live entertainment, and more, spookiness is filling the air at Downtown Roseville. If you are a fan of costumes, you can participate in or spectate not one, but three costume contests! And of course, for those who love tradition...there’s trick-or-treating!

Offered throughout the month, indulge in these Halloween-themed drinks!  

  • Great Pumpkin: white mocha made with a house-made pumpkin spice syrup 

  • Black Cauldron: black and white mocha made with house-made vanilla and activated charcoal (bet many of you didn’t know this is edible!) 

  • Witches’ Brew Iced Hibiscus Tea: brewed with cinnamon and sweetened with house-made brown sugar

Create a Halloween Mask @ The Downtown Library 

October 1st through October 31st  

This month’s Create at the Library activity will be Color Me Spooky Masks! Participants will color and cut out their masks, then staple black strips of paper to make a headband. This event is geared towards children, but all ages are welcome! 

No registration is required, just drop in!

Sparrow 5 is a treasure trove of unique handmade crafts! 

We spy several eclectic pieces that can serve as Halloween decor on the shop’s website (but there’s even more in store): 

Graffiti Skull Sculpture: A unique, hand-painted skull  

Cast-Iron Skull: A heavy, dark-colored skull made of solid metal.

Falling Leaf Festival

October 11th @ 10 am – 3 pm 

This lively family festival is packed with Halloween fun for all ages, including: 

  • Pumpkin painting 

  • A spirited family costume contest (registration required, see link below for details) 

  • An exciting kids' zone filled with carnival games and inflatables 

  • Food trucks 

  • Handmade goods and fall-themed treats from artisans and vendors 

  • Live entertainment and more!

Halloween Towne Night Market

October 18th @ 3pm – 8pm 

Halloween festivities continue with this spellbinding celebration and night market featuring: 

  • Vendors offering everything from spooky décor to sweet seasonal snacks 

  • An 80s and 90s horror movie themed costume contest @ 6pm (registration required, see details at link below) 

  • Interactive games 

  • Live music and entertainment

Family Fun Night

October 30th @ 4 pm – 8 pm  

Rounding out the Halloween season in eek-citing fashion is Family Fun Night! This award-winning event features: 

  • Safe trick-or-treating along Vernon Street 

  • A costume contest by age category 

  • Food trucks serving delicious local eats  

  • Local vendors selling unique, handmade crafts  

  • Live music and entertainment 

Costumes are strongly encouraged (regardless of whether you participate in the costume contest or not!) We are expecting a big crowd this year, so don’t miss out on this highly anticipated event!
